5th Admiral Users Conference

Internal organization of fraud management departments

This year traditional 5th Admiral Users Conference  focused on processes and the internal organization of fraud departments. Furthermore, the NEW Admiral on Demand Investigation Management Package was presented for the first time. It encompasses a full set of new features and functionalities, which will guarantee you full control over your fraud management processes and your fraud investigation team.

Matjaž Trontelj, General Manager Department of Insurance Contingency and mag. Katja Pečlin, Head of Department for Processing Insurance Claims, both from Vzajemna health insurance – the first and the largest voluntary health insurance company in Slovenia – presented the internal organization of their fraud management department, emphasizing the crucial role of the Admiral application within their processes. The three pillars of their fraud management strategy presented at the conference were:

1. Detection of anomalies during the processing of accounting documents– this step is fully supported by the Admiral application; however, the crucial entities in this part are also their fraud investigation professionals. Having a skilled team of professionals with the right tools, which are supporting their work, is crucial!

2. Data analysis and the definition of new fraud detection rules– adding new fraud detection rules as they are identified is essential to stay up-to-date, so these activates are part of their routine.

3. Test of new fraud detection rules– experimental analyzes are mandatory before confirming the new fraud detection rule.

The second part of the conference was dedicated to the NEW Admiral on Demand Investigation Management Package, which is now offering an even more exciting user-friendly experience with its responsive design, real-time communication features for team members and overall control for the chief of the Insurance Fraud Investigation Department.
